Competition Rules

1. Participants should be 21 or older (Please present a photo ID).

2.  Professionals or current bartenders cannot participate in the competition.

3.  Evaluation elements:

• Drink decoration
• Flavor
• Creativity
• Drink Name
• Recipe
• Drink Scent

4.  Participants should register by faxing the following information
to (787) 742-0210: name(s), age(s), recipe & ingredients, address, contact phone & date of participation.  Club Seabourne & Rums of PR supply the rum for the recipes. Participants provide all other ingredients.  Participants should be at Club Seabourne for the date of the contest at 5:30 p.m. or earlier, in order to enter to the competition.  Each day the jury will select a winner in each category.  Then, the jury will select the final winner based on the evaluation elements.  Club Seabourne & Rums of PR will contact the final winners for the prizes.

5.  Prizes:
- All participants: Rum samples courtesy of Rums of PR
- Winners of the Day: Messenger Bag w/Rums of PR merchandise
- Final 2 Winners: Basket with Rums of PR samples & premiums, and one of the two recipes will be included in the 2009 PR Rums Drinks Recipe Book.

6.  No purchase necessary to participate.
